Just had to get away, we have been stuck indoors for basically 9 months with this Covid business and spoke to a really delightful girl in reservations, Jackie I think it was, said we couldn't go wrong after describing the place. Just my wife and I and wow, when we saw the view from our Lanai, was stunned. You are virtually on the most beautiful beach we have ever seen and equals parts of the Caribbean we have been to. Coconuts Beach Resort is a lovely select small place, heated pool, with barbecue grills and unit 106 had all we needed and then some for our two weeks. There are only 4 condos on the beach front ground floor level, so felt very lucky to get 106 as the others were fully booked plus this condo had more than enough great kitchen equipment, not that we ate in much, plus huge Roku TV's and leather sofas and was informed it was the best one anyway. Apart from one big storm that was over in a day, the weather was glorious. Loved the free tram that takes you all the way to Bradenton beach and back and we found several great restaurants nearby. Don't often write reviews, but this merits it. Actually had the pleasure of meeting the owners who were busy with updating another unit they owned in the same block, 109 I think and was amazed when the husband who found out from my wife that I had left my razor at home, immediately went and brought me another! We now can't wait to book next year and will be recommending our friends as well. Oh and heads up to AMI Locals, had a problem with the internet, didn't understand it and within 10 minutes it was explained and fixed. 5 stars from us for such great service. Thank you so much, now going to print out all the pics we took of the ever changing sea colors plus some of the most glorious sunsets we have seen. What a vacation.
