Amazing vacation home
I cannot say enough about this beautiful, well appointed but comfy vacation home in wonderful Anna Maria. The home is immaculate with every amenity one would want to make their vacation complete. Bedrooms and baths are spacious and perfectly decorated. The kitchen is huge...ideal for cooking your favorite meal, or just a morning of coffee and bagels. We loved the enclosed patio area for enjoying our favorite beverages while looking at the lush scenery. The huge dining table was perfect for group activities like games and puzzles. We especially loved the quiet comfort of the pool and patio, clean and heated to just the right temp. While we had no children along, the rec area in the bottom level was great for ping pong or other teen activities. Finally, we enjoyed TV in the evening on the comfy sofas. What a wonderful spot for our home away from home. Cannot wait to go back!

The house is perfect :)
We loved getting around by golf cart and spending the evenings on the back patio. And our kids loved the pool lights! We absolutely loved our stay in the Pelican's Nest and will certainly be back!

Our kids loved the pool and we had a great time. We recommend Tide Tables, Pizza Social, and Shore for some great places to eat! AMI Escapes (a boat charter) and bean point sunsets were some fun activities. We love AMI! PS - Go Z-Ville Eagles!!

Amazing spot
The Pelican’s Nest was such a lovely spot on AMI! Clean, perfectly appointed, beautifully decorated while very comfortable. Top notch facilities and a wonderful pool. Plenty of space for a family to spread out, yet be together. Super location overlooking water while still on a quiet cul-de-sac. A short walk to Pine Avenue or beautiful Bean Point. You will be disappointed at the Pelican’s Nest!

Beautiful. Stay at this house.
Beautiful home. Great location. Very clean. Furniture and beds were incredibly comfortable. TONS of fish in the canal and under the dock. My only knock is the lack of a few small things - no coffee filters, salt and pepper, etc. Otherwise incredible vacation. Thank you so much!

Amazing Home and Wonderful Vacation
This house is so beautiful. We loved hanging out on the screened in porch. The views of the canal are just stunning. The kitchen is well equipped and we did a lot of cooking. The bedrooms are so spacious and well decorated. The game room down stairs is a great retreat for kids and adults! Beautiful pool with a great sun shelf. Our family was sad to leave but we hope to come back. AMI Locals was so great to work with as well. We highly recommend!

Pelican's Nest is the best!
Brought my mom, wife & daughters to AMI. We've rented several homes on the island over the years, and this is by far my favorite! Pelican's nest is nicely situated on the canal just a few minutes away from both the city pier and the Rod N Reel pier. I liked that Pine Avenue was just a few blocks away from the house. We rented bikes and rode them down to the ice cream shop every night! We loved playing ping pong and foosball in the game room. The pool was a lot larger than similar homes we've rented before. This was a nice, large, comfortable home for us inside and out! We loved the large screened in porch. It allowed for a nice cross breeze in the evenings. This was a wonderful, relaxing time away and we'll keep Pelican's Nest on the top of our list of places to stay the next time we come to AMI!

Incredible Property
Took my family and we are already missing this home a day later. First time not staying on the beach but this practically brand new house with a short walk to the bay or golfcart ride to the beach was perfect for us. The pool area was a great retreat from the heat. The house was designed as if my wife built it. We have the same entertainment center in our house! The cleanliness of the home and service from AMI Locals was top notch. Already looking at booking again.

What a gorgeous home!!
This was our first visit to AMI, so we didn't know what to expect. But we were pleasantly surprised by this property - it was amazing!!! Our family LOVED this house! Every detail from the flooring, decor, furniture, kitchen is PERFECT! The pool area was great, and it was nice to have the covered patio for eating by the pool. The beach that we liked the best was Bean Point - however this required a golf cart ride and a long walk with all of the beach gear, which wasn't great, but the home itself made up for that downfall. Being on a cul-de-sac, and on the canal made the area so quiet and private. Also, this was the most convenient trip we've ever taken - bike rentals and golf cart were there when we arrived. And I got a tip on this site that suggested using InstaCart to get groceries from Publix, so I placed an order earlier in the week and the groceries arrived 15 minutes after we got there!! We will definitely stay here again.

It's a home from home
We visit AMI several time a year and were thrilled to find Pelican Nest. Pelican nest is a beautifully furnished, three bedrooms, three bath luxury home in a quiet residential area. The property also boasts a generously sized heated pool and plenty of privacy, making it an ideal getaway. Plus, it's within walking distance to Pine Ave, where you'll find a selection of charming shops, restaurants and the beach. We will certainly rent from them again in the future!

This house was perfect for our family!
Clean and cool! We loved seeing the boats, paddle boards, and kayaks in the inlet pass by us. Recommendations: Ugly Grouper (grouper tacos, ugly cheese), Wicked Cantina (everything!), Gulf Drive Cafe (watch out for the birds) We hope to stay here again! Thank You!

Great Memories
Really enjoyed the family time fishing on the dock! We caught snapper, sheep head, jacks, maharaja black drum, and cat fish. Two scoops was the winner for ice cream.

Just Incredible
Pelican's Nest was out-of-this world. The home is at the end of a cul-de-sac which made us feel safe having the kids play out front. The house is beautiful from the inside out. As soon as you come into the front door, you see that no detail was spared when this home was being built. Going upstairs, the living room had enough space for us to lounge comfortably, and the kitchen/dining room was incredible for our home cooked meals. We thoroughly enjoyed having a screened in porch! When we were there the weather was beautiful so this was a nice area to hangout as well. The home has beach items, towels, and a small kit of toiletries available which was nice for us as we didn't do our big grocery haul until the day after check-in. We were able to come in, unpack, grab dinner, and just enjoy being in the house/on Anna Maria. We would highly recommend Pelican's Nest.

Wonderful
The home is beautiful and the location was great! The beach wagon was a life saver. We saw the Jeep parade, which was a fun surprise! The kids had a blast using the shovel and net at the beach. The home was wonderful for our large group. Thank you for sharing with us!
